Shirt Weights

Under shirt description, there are weights listed in ounces. (oz.)
Examples: T-Shirts (5.4, 5.5, 5.6, 6.1 ozs., etc.)
Sweatshirts ( 7.7, 8, 9, 9.3 ozs., etc.)
Shirt weight for comparison is determined by taking one square yard of fabric and weighing it. In other words, the greater the ounces, the heavier the shirt fabric.
Is a heavier weight better? Not necessarily, just thicker.
Both compact and full size cars get you where you want to go - the compact is somewhat less expensive - usually the same for shirts.
